Golf Is Better With Something to Play For.
Beltway Golf Society was created to bring competition, community and structure to the rounds we’re already playing.
A community of golfers from across the D.C. region playing in competitions built for real life. One course. Flexible tee times. Individual standings. Teams formed by random draw. Championships. And a reason for every round to matter.
You don’t need to belong to a country club. You don’t need to be a scratch golfer. You just need to love the game and want more than a casual round.
Competitive enough to matter. Flexible enough to actually play.
THE STORY BEHIND BGS
From One Game to Another.
Beltway Golf Society may begin in 2026, but the idea behind it has been building for years.
For more than a decade, a recreational basketball league in Northern Virginia brought together people from across the D.C. region to compete, build teams, chase championships and form friendships that lasted far beyond our first season in 2016.
As the years passed, more of us started carrying golf bags.
BGS takes that same competitive spirit and sense of community to the course. New game. New traditions. Same idea: give people something worth showing up for and let the competition bring them together.
