League Mechanics

Competitive golf built around real life. BGS sets the course and the competition. You decide when you can play.

01
THE COURSE

Each competition window features one designated local course. Everyone plays the same course, creating a common competition even when members play on different days.

02
YOUR TEE TIME

Play during the competition window when your schedule allows. Play solo, with BGS golfers or with golfers outside BGS. No other golfer needs to verify your card. This is a gentleman's sport and we play with gentlemen's honor.

03
TWO COMPETITIONS

The front nine is Individual Net Stableford. At the turn, the back nine becomes Team Net Stableford for your club, the Golden Bears or the Long Johns.

04
THE STANDINGS

Handicap strokes are applied before Stableford points are calculated. Individual and club results build through four windows toward the Championship and its two belts.

HOLES 1–9

INDIVIDUAL

The front nine belongs to you. Play your own ball, scored as Individual Net Stableford with your handicap strokes applied. Your points count toward the season-long Individual Standings.

One golfer. One leaderboard. One Individual Belt.

ONE ROUND. TWO RACES.

Every official BGS round can contribute to two season-long competitions.

HOLES 10–18

TEAM

At the turn, your score starts counting for your club. You still play your own ball, scored as Team Net Stableford, and clubmates do not need to share a tee time. Each window's club result builds the season-long team record.

Two clubs. Shared results. One Team Belt.
